Tower Hill

On Friday, Jess and I made our annual trip to Tower Hill Botanic Gardens in Boylston, MA (east of Worcester). This is a beautiful rural area with everything from trails and a naturalized pond to a formal European gardens and a French style Orangarie. The original farmhouse has a veggie garden and perrenial beds with apple orchards nearby....the variety is amazing. Here is Jess at the pond overloook, sitting under a lovely cyprus tree.

Wildlife

We didn't see much wildlife but the bees were busy for sure!

This colorful balloon was sailing over the fields of Haldey Thursday evening. Beautiful sight!

Howl Away!!

NYC tomorrow...woohoo. yup...headed down to the Big Apple for the Howl festival in East Village..art..art..art..all kinds...most free too.

Old Love

Anneli's Grandpa and Grandma at the Nursing Home

Grandpa George told Anneli on our way out: "Now, don't forget to tell all your friends that YOU'VE GOT A GRANDPA!" :-)
We both cried. He was very lucid that day, for someone suffering from Alzheimer's.
