is a new non-profit in Afghanistan, founded by our long time friend Gary Moorehead. Gary will be at the DSC in 3 weeks (Jan. 21). Meanwhile check out the brand new web page. Incredible photos of Afghanistan and great info on what he and others are doing there.

Gary is awesome! I just had dinner with him recently, and he always makes me want to go over there and work. He's methodical about thinking through every part of the ministry, asking whether it's providing a good witness of Jesus Christ. Even down the the materials he buys, and from where. He also understands SUSTAINABLE community development, and appreciates moving slower for the sake of helping the locals to train themselves to build their places. Most development agencies just push ahead and put the houses up and leave. Gary is there for good. It was his calling, though no one had any idea. I suggest you get in touch with him if you have any inkling of wanting to go over there to work!
