New Contemplative Service

It looks like a new contemplative service will be starting up at the beautiful new ARK space on North Pleasant Street (across from the Totman gym parking lot). It's most likely launching on Septmber 25, 4PM. Stay tuned (or contact me) for more information. I don't think their new web page is up yet.

I'm diggin' it. Just trying to figure out how the jazz component is gonna work. Ian had said Chris (priest at the ARK) was looking for a jazz pianist for this service. Hmmm.

Piano and such: Yeah...he's looking for a pretty high end jazz pianist. He was leaving to pick out a $15,000 Yamaha grand piano in Baltimore the other day.....very nice.....can't wait to hear it!
I did give him Glen's name tho just in case it might work out.

...as for the service.... I don't think it will be contemplative quite in the same way as Prime was.... elements of the same but different. The piano will be 30 minutes before the service I think....& maybe some during, I am not sure.

I'm meeting with him tomorrow at 2:00pm at Blue Wall. We're gonna talk a bit. Sounds like he's been chatting with the music dept. a bit. Can't wait to meet him.
